*Role: Mainframe Developer*

*Location: Iowa City, IA*

*Duration: 6+ months*

*Only H1, GC & USC Candidates*

*Responsibilities:*

·         Designing and coding new applications to run on the mainframe

·         Assist and troubleshoot current Mainframe environment

·         Good knowledge in COBOL, JCL, SAS programs



*Mandatory Technical Skills:*

·         6 years of overall experience in design and coding of mainframe

·         Experience in COBOL programs (must to have)

·         Experience installing and configuring SAS (must to have)

·         Experience in DB2

·         Experience in JCL, Assembler



*Desirable Technical Skills:*

·         Should have prior experience working as Mainframe developer

·         Must have experience in Agile Methodology

·         Excellent Oral and Written communication skills

·         Should be able to work with Pearson requirement team to
clarify/capture the requirement for first few weeks initially
