·  Knowledge of command line Linux (Ubuntu preferred but not required)

·  File tree navigation

·  Using a text editor

·  Previous experience in IT support

·  Writing support tickets

·  Knowledge of problem management frameworks (ITIL preferred but not
required)

·  Interest in learning networking skills

·  Understanding and troubleshooting routers and switches

·  Or willingness to work towards certification



*General Qualifications:*



·  A good mental and physical discipline to stay alert and responsive in
front of a screen for several hours at a time

·  Responsible, reliable, and calm under pressure

·  Able and willing to work flexible hours in shifts

·  A testing mindset – able to support issues and suggest improvements to
existing tools

·  A keen interest in technology and its advancement in society
