*Responsibility:*

Looking for a Build and Release Engineer to improve the efficiency of the
development process and its build processes by developing scripts and tools
that will further enhance the developer experience. This role will
contribute to the continuous improvement and standards definition of common
processes that will be implemented to ensure consistent, high-quality
delivery of software in our services.



*Job Description:*

The person shall carry below responsibilities –

·         Own Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) and
DevOps transformation initiatives to define common build and release
processes across multiple scrum teams.

·         Contribute in developing best practices for infrastructure as
code (e.g.: Ansible, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, ANT,
etc.) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins etc.).

·         Work with various Project teams to automate manual release/build
related activities utilizing DevOps principles.

·         Management and documentation of deployment processes and
automation.

·         Automating build, release/deployment, manual processes and
workflows

·         Ensure that software builds happen predictably, consistently and
reliably

·         Advocate for improving our build and release toolchain.

·         Work closely with development teams to create processes and tools
that provide immediate feedback on source code changes.

·         Write effective documentation.



*Key Technical Skill: *Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Linux, Automation/Build
tools like MAVEN, Gradle, Ansible

*Desired Skills: *Docker

*Experience Level: *6-8 Years
