*Job Description:*
Opportunity for a senior level Platform Reliability Specialist (aka Site
Reliability Engineer) to join client's Operations team. This role takes
technical lead on application availability, performance and optimization,
working alongside Avista's developers and business partners to deliver a
great user and customer experience.

*This position is primarily responsible for production support and
performance of client's Energy Imbalance Market systems and their
respective technology platforms. Operational Excellence is the goal.*



*Requirements:*
•    5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, systems administration, or
software engineering.
•    Must possess background in application and infrastructure support,
with strong communication and analytical skills.
•    Experience working with automation and instrumenting monitoring
toolsets such as AppDynamics and Splunk.
•    Experience working across multiple technology stacks such as C#
development, API services, cloud micro-services, Microsoft TFS, SQL, and
other proprietary systems.
•    Experience leading teams through complex technology incidents and
problems.
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related
study; equivalent experience may be considered as well.
•    Professional and/or technical certification preferred.
