*we have an urgent requirement for the following position* *Role : **Jr Project Manager* *Location : *Albany, New York *Duration : *60 Months *Client :* NY State *Duties* · The Project Manager will support the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Project Management Office (PMO) and project managers within the PMO. · Prepare meeting agenda and minutes for project meetings facilitated by senior or mid-level project managers. · Assist project managers on various activities including maintaining risk register, issues list, action items, and ensure project artifacts are tracking project progress, action item follow-up and status reporting. · Perform project management activities as directed by senior and mid level project managers. · Participate in special assignments, ad-hoc activities, as required. Coordinate with communications staff and project managers on the development of presentations. *Mandatory Requirements* - *Experience (5+ Years)* *Requirements* · More than one (1) but less than four (4) years' experience as a Project Manager · Minimum of three years of experience using MS Office365 including word, excel, share point, etc. · Minimum of three years of experience working in a Project Management Office supporting project managers. · Minimum of three years experience preparing meeting agenda and minutes · Minimum of one project as project manager responsible for managing a budget greater than $200,000. · Minimum of one year as a project manager in a NYS Agency. · Bachelor's degree · Minimum of three years experience using MS Project. · PMP or CAPM Certified through Project Management Institute (PMI) · Minimum of one project as a project manager which is federally funded requiring project management activities to conform to federal requirements prior to project implementation, e.g., testing, deployment and pilot requirements and federal program specific requirements. · Minimum of two years experience attended business requirements sessions and documenting outcome of sessions.
