*We are urgently hiring for the following position* *Role : .NET Architect with Oracle DB* *Location : Rensselaer, New York* *Duration : 24 months* *Client : NY State* *Description* The Child Care Facility System (CCFS) will continue to meet the needs of the Division of Child Care Services (with the addition of the Facility Application and Management System (FAMS). The Division has seen changing priorities as well as the dictates of changing statutory and regulatory requirements. The objectives are to minimize the paper forms necessary to complete an application, to streamline the application process by providing to applicants online personalized application documents from which data submitted by applicants can be uploaded directly into the database of record, and to create a provider process to enable secure email communications including inspection results, etc. It will also allow the uploading and storage of supporting documents and inspections by outside entities, e.g. scanning. This approach will have an impact on printing and mailing costs, the time required to get the application in the hands of the applicant, and the processing time needed by regulators *Duties* · Assist the team of developers to expand the current system. · Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design. · DV,Net .Net core · Assist with responding to Day Care data requests. · The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Project Manager. · Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL · Assist and champion the upgrade of the system from PowerBuilder to .Net 4.5. · Responsible for designing and implementation the new .Net application as efficiently as possible with minimal user impact. *Mandatory Requirements* · Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
