Role: *Tech Lead – Java Microservices Developer*

Duration: 6 + Months contract

Location: *McLean, VA *Remote for now during COVID*

*Customer: CAPCO (Financial Consulting Services)*

Must Have Skills

   - 9+ years of IT experience with 6+ years of Java
   - Leadership experience (Team Lead, not manager. Needs to be a hands-on
   tech lead)
   - Converting existing services/monoliths into microservices (Java 8,
   SpringBoot, Spring REST, AWS API Gateway)
   - Cloud Experience (AWS - EMR, SQS/SNS, Lambda, StepFunctions)

Nice to Have

   - Building CI/CD pipelines
   - Mongo DB / SnowFlake

This role will be 90 % microservices and 10 % on data engineering side.

   - Breaking up Java monoliths into containerizable, 12factor Java
   microservices
   - Microservices service mesh architectures

Core Responsibilities

   - Converting existing services/monoliths into microservices (Java 8,
   SpringBoot, Spring REST, AWS API Gateway)
   - Cloud Experience (AWS - EMR, SQS/SNS, Lambda, StepFunctions)
   - Mongo DB / SnowFlake
