*Role:  Tableau administrator*

*Location: Sunnyvale, CA*
1) Experience as Tableau administrator, developing in, configuring and
administering Tableau Server + Strong development skills in Tableau and
data analytics and visualizations + Knowledge of Tableau Server best
practices for scalability, performance, content management and governance +
Experience with utilizing scripting languages to leverage Tableau's APIs
(JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API).

2) Strong query skills using SQL, Understanding of data extraction
mechanisms and data warehousing concepts

    Knowledge of Python is a plus ( Good to have )

3)  Manage all Tableau administration-related tasks for users, including
(not limited to) extract scheduling, security, platform optimization, data
source governance, installation, configuration, and patches .

4) Analyze and troubleshoot Tableau Desktop and Server issues from
stakeholders across the company and recommend dashboard optimizations for
best performance

5) Review Tableau Desktop license usage and reclaim licenses when necessary

6) Schedule backups of Tableau repository and perform restores if needed

7) Document best practices for Development and administration of the
Tableau Platform and provide end-user training.

8) Work with business partners to gather analytics and reporting
requirements and assist them in developing Tableau visualizations and
workbooks.

9) Clearly document any change to our Tableau environment, architecture,
and automated processes

10) Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop - Able to assist users with
complex capabilities guiding them on how to resolve their questions (Good
to Have)

11) Excellent communication skills (Must)

12) Tableau Server Admin Certification (must)

13) Exposure to Cloud Migration will be a plus
