*Location*: US Anywhere (Dallas, TX preferred, Oregon 2nd best option –
other US States viable for best fit candidates)

*Duration*: 12+ months plus potential extensions

*Job Details*

Client is looking to expand it’s Salesforce practice team by hiring a
talented and enthusiastic Salesforce DevOps Lead.



The DevOps Lead will be a member of a highly motivated Development team.
This role will develop, enhance, and sustain innovative solutions to
improve the customer experience. The DevOps Lead works with engineers on
the design, deployment and continuous improvement of important
infrastructure services including logging, monitoring, and alerting. The
DevOps Lead will support design architecture reviews, perform code reviews,
develop, and own best practices and methodologies for provisioning,
application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning,
monitoring, etc.



*Job Responsibilities:*

-        Work with the internal client delivery team and the client to lead
the DevOps team to implement continuous integration delivery and deployment
in a large enterprise environment

-        Execute a blend of manual, exploratory, and automated testing with
focus on completing an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline

-        Work in a hybrid Agile fashion to provide our customers with near
real-time monitoring needed to quickly respond to events while advancing
monitoring capabilities

-        Contribute to the design and implementation of Salesforce
solutions with a focus on provisioning, application scaling, configuration
management, capacity planning, monitoring, etc.

-        Track and act on key quality metrics aligned with achieving goals

-        Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure
high-quality delivery

-        Work closely with the Product and Development teams during all
phases of the software development lifecycle

-        Where applicable, develop usage of repeatable DevOps approaches
and processes

-        Foster a continuous improvement culture via focus on process
improvements & innovation



*Experience:*

-        8-9 years of experience testing all phases of DevOps required to
successfully execute medium & large enterprise Salesforce implementation
projects

-        Knowledge of OO programming and concepts (Java, C++, Python)

-        Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Ruby

-        Experience in configuration management technologies like Chef,
Puppet or Ansible

-        Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and
testing pipelines

-        Understanding of fundamental network technologies, i.e., DNS, Load
Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTP

-        Experience with Containers and orchestration services

-        Minimum 5+ years in Salesforce environment

-        Experience with Agile development

-        Strong communication skills

-        Pursues learning beyond scope of current assignments

*Certifications/Qualifications*

-        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area, or
equivalent experience

-        Salesforce Admin Certification (Preferred)
