Hi,
Hope you are doing good. *Please share me profiles to md.kh...@3sbc.com <md.kh...@3sbc.com>* *Role: SAP APO Consultant* *Location: Cleveland – but the work will be all remote* *Start: End of October/First of November* *Duration: 8 weeks to start with likely extensions* *Skill: * The start date is several weeks out, but they want to start interviewing consultants now. Client is looking to bring in a consultant with extensive *PP/DS and GATP knowledge*. They want to review their current processes and try to improve on the accuracy of availability to promise dates as well as try to improve the production planning and detail scheduling. Below is a high level document of items they are wanting to review and come up with process/system changes they can present to the steering committee for approval. This is the first in a series of Supply Chain Levers projects to expand our system capabilities around XTO planning in alignment with the recently released Product Strategy, minimizing the impact of large Construction Orders, and taking advantage of cost saves / setup reductions where practical. Capabilities to be explored and implemented for this first phase include: - Aligning XTO order need dates with the product strategy availability targets (not shipping orders earlier than needed to preserve near term capacity for more pressing needs), - Sequencing setups for orders for the same part numbers to reduce cost and preserve capacity, - Relax XTO “order fixing” processes to allow system to drive select improvements to meet product strategy availability targets and sequence setups, - Limiting quantities to be filled from on-hand stock (instead making large orders from scratch, reserving inventory for smaller quantity orders), - Automatic sweeping large orders to higher volume platforms.
