'Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to team's work in 
assessing, designing, and developing all aspects of a release lifecycle of 
moderate complexity, including development and test activities, coordinating 
release preparation and acceptance of new hardware and software, and 
collaborating across development expertise domains.
BI Analyst role to help manage data retrieval and perform analysis within the 
Metrics and Reporting team. Duties will include organizing data points, 
communicating between customers across the organization and the internal squad. 
Assist in determining what information Fannie Mae needs to collect to answer 
business questions. Work with databases to put the collected data into a 
meaningful structure and format for later analysis. Ability to create written 
reports management can use to monitor the Fannie Mae's metrics and make 
decisions. Ability to create data visualizations in the form of charts and web 
dashboard applications that helps track trends. Familiarity with Jenkins, 
Tableau, EAZYBI, POWERBI, Alteryx a plus. Analyst with strong communication 
skills who is also a fast and avid learner will be an asset to this team.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experiences:

  *   At least 4-5 years of experience in software engineering
  *   Hands-on Experience with BI tools ie. Tableau and SQL
  *   3-5 years of experience in ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)
  *   Working knowledge of AWS S3, Lambda, IAM, basic understanding of Redshift 
spectrum, Glue catalog to verify the data
  *   Experience with Python, Autosys
  *   Hands-on experience in Jenkins – At least for 1 resource
  *   Expertise in Data Analytics
  *   QA experience is a must
  *   Strong Communication skills
  *   Desired Experiences
  *   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  *   2-5 years of experience in EAZYBI, POWERBI, Alteryx
  *   Agile Best Practices
  *   Knowledge of Cloud (AWS) and on-prem hosting
  *   Migrating on-premise applications to AWS.
