This is for the Digital Ag Program.



This person will need experience working as a BPE Business Process
Expertise or BA on an Agile Scrum Dev Team.





*The Digital Ag Program (DAP),* is a software application that Corteva's
Agronomist used to help monitor how the seed fields are doing during the
growing season.



*Business Process Expert (BPE)*



This is the target state of the BPE role, we realize that not all current
BPEs are participating within their product lines according to this
description and we will be working to reconcile those responsibilities
and/or update the job description so that everyone’s role is reflected.



Client Business Process Expert provides product leadership to Client’s
Agile Product teams through collaboration with both business and technology
stakeholders.



The Business Process Expert will collaborate with the Product Owner and
ITBP to complete the Product Strategy Roadmap, including product value
assessment. The Business Process Expert also helps transform and transition
the strategic plan into a rolling product plan, which includes MVP and
Product Life Cycle assessment. The Business Process Expert, in
collaboration with the Business Product Owner, Engineering, UX, leads the
Discovery and Customer feedback process to understand customer needs
through primary and secondary research methods. They consult with the POs
on needs, cost and return on investment, to understand the value
proposition of the feature, which in turn feeds Roadmap and Strategy. The
Business Process Expert will lead a collaborative discussion introducing
Epics and Features with the delivery team, which enables the definition and
prioritization of features as well as establish the market release
timeline. The Business Process Expert will collaborate in an ongoing
cadence with the Product Development Team(s) and UX to guide and provide
feedback on solutions.



*Key responsibilities:*



*Phase: Product Strategy, Health and Roadmap*



•             Identify/define Capabilities that need to be enabled with
ITBP and the PO.



•             Define revenue metrics and outcomes with the ITBP and PO.



•             Define the Product’s value proposition, functions with the
ITBP and PO.



•             Identify the Target market with ITBPs and PO.



•             Lead the Discovery Process - deeply understand customer needs
through primary and secondary research methods in partnership with PO, UX,
Engineer.



•             Business Process Expert understands the Market Research
outcomes.



•             Partner with POs, ITBPs to identify the POCs needed.



•             Partner with UXD, Engineer to do a POC with the customer to
validate feasibility and risk.



•             Identify an off the shelf product (solution) available to
meet customer needs instead of investing in development.



*Phase: Mid Term Planning*



•             Review White Paper/Business Use Case to understand the
requirements and funding model and provide feedback to the POs, TPMs.



•             Define Rolling Roadmap for multiple years along with OKRs and
KPIs.



•             Facilitate the definition of MVP.



*Phase: Epic and Feature Backlog*



•             Define Feature needs, criteria in partnership with UXD and
PO, at least 2 -3 quarters ahead. UX or Arch runway.



•             Engage in Customer-UX Canvass sessions to get feature details
and identify enablers and runway needed.



•             Adjust/create Business Process Maps for L2s, L3 and
Conceptual Design.



•             Facilitate discussions with the Product Team to T-Shirt Size
and prioritize the features, identify release timelines in the rolling
roadmap.



*Phase: Pre-Quarterly Planning*



•             Collaborate with the Delivery Leads to prioritize and
identify Features that need to be picked up for the upcoming Quarter.



•             Rolling 4 quarter plan updates



*Phase: Quarterly Planning*



•             Be the SME in Quarterly Planning (or Big Room Planning) to
help the team(s) with any questions/concerns/prioritization needs.



•             Guide the DL’s in requirements to match the business needs
and requirements.



•             Be informed of the work being accepted by the team.



•             Flag risks if they see work not accepted if it poses a risk
to the overall roadmap.



*Phase: Build and Customer Engagement*



•             Provide daily guidance to the Scrum team with regards to
backlog prioritization.



•             Partner with Customer Success/Support teams to develop
documentation and lead user education strategies



*Phase: Analytics*



•             Define, analyze, and report metrics that inform the success
of the software solution.



*Position Requirements:*



•          Preferred Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business
administration, or related field



•          Strong problem-solving and analytical skills



•          Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.



•          Experience in Agile methodology



•          At least four years’ experience in a similar product role or
within software development



•          Experience in Portfolio Management, Roadmap Activities a plus
