I have an exchange site consisting of 2 front-ends and 3 back-end
server. One of the back-end server was just added for a small group of
users. We are not providing OWA support for these users. The 2 orginal
servers are using the front-end servers as "bridgeheads". No bridgehead
server has been designated for the new server.

Problem: New server can send mail internally, they can receive email
from the internet, but, mail outbound to the internet is being queued on
the server. They are a member of the local routing group.

Will I need to do a separate routing group for this new server?

Will I need to use the Bridgehead servers for outbound traffic for this
server.

Running exchange 2000 sp3.
