Greetings, I'm in the early stages of migrating our organization from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. All servers in the organization are running Server 2000SP4. In using the deployment tools in getting ready for deployment, I can't make it past one step and I've searched for hours on an error message I'm getting in the ExDeploy.log file when I run DSScopeScan. For some reason, DSScopeScan can't find my 5.5 server and I'm at a loss to determine why. The specific error message in the log is:
#*** Exdeploy began: 02/04/2004 14:16:39 ***# + Exchange 5.5 Server: mpo_fs3 + Global Catalog Server: mpo_fs3 + Tools run: DSScopeScan, and OrgNameCheck. - Error: Could not connect to the Exchange 5.5 server 'mpo_fs3'. Tools that require an Exchange 5.5 server will not run. Any ideas?
