You will need to make sure that the disabled account has the SELF entity
specified in the mailbox permissions and SELF should be the associated
external account in addition to full mailbox rights.

An email was sent to a user that was disabled in Active Directory.  The
undeliverable message the sender received was: "The message was
undeliverable because the recipient specified in the recipient postal
address refused to accept the message."

Even with a valid SMTP address still in place, if the account is disabled,
mail will not be received. Is that correct?
