You will need to make sure that the disabled account has the SELF entity specified in the mailbox permissions and SELF should be the associated external account in addition to full mailbox rights.
-----Original Message----- From: Farquharson, Andrea [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2004 9:27 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Bounced email An email was sent to a user that was disabled in Active Directory. The undeliverable message the sender received was: "The message was undeliverable because the recipient specified in the recipient postal address refused to accept the message." Even with a valid SMTP address still in place, if the account is disabled, mail will not be received. Is that correct? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
