Found out that if you install the ESM on a GFI Mail Essentials box it jacks with GFI... Apparently GFI wants the default SMTP virtual server to exist SAN some modification done by the ESM install. Not sure fo the particulars and likely not an issue on your workstation, but thought I'd throw that out there.
