I have a problem with 2 of my exchange 5.5 servers. It seems like almost daily I have to restart the MTA service on these remote servers to flush out the MTA queue for these servers. Out of my 15 servers, only these 2 have this problem. My question is, is there anyway to flush out an MTA queue without restarting the services? Maybe a command line fix? I am running the MTA's over an x.400 connector and the servers are on a site to site vpn. The links are not that great and fail frequently. But that shouldnt cause the MTA to stop sending messages, should it?

I am running x5.5 with SP4 and many hotfiixes. I have not installed Q276222 yet. Which covers a faulty MTA, but I am a bit leery of this patch. The tech at MS wasnt very knowledgeable and couldnt answer most of my questions about this. If anyone has installed Q276222, let me know how it went.

TIA,
Nurv
