Hi everyone. I have an Exchange 5.5 setup. I have a internal server and an external relay server tied together by a PIX firewall. I needed to change the IP addresses on the NIC on the external relay. Everything stopped working and now I recieve the following error on both servers (only the remote name is different): _______________________________________________________________________ An RPC communications error occurred. Unable to bind over RPC. Locality Table (LTAB)index: 11, NT/MTA error code: 1722. Comms error 1722, bind error 1722, Remote Server Name ADMINMAILDMZ[MAIN BASE 1 500%10](14) _______________________________________________________________________ I've changed the LMHOSTS files, I've also changed the address' on my WINS servers. I can't ping the server from the outside. Should I be able to? I went as far as opening up the servers completely on the firewall.
