Subject: S\MIME problem

Company A environment Exchange 2000 SP4 on a Win2k sp4 clients are O2kspp3

Company B is sending company A an S\MIME attachment and when i recieved the
attachment (blah.doc) and double click to open it give me a "the document
name or path is not valid.. try etc..etc..."

When i called company B to ask they said that sometimes when they send SMIME
attachments something has to be done to exchange in order to be recieved.

I made sure the box was checked on my mailbox in order to recieve S\MIME
attachments. I was also reading about Certificate Authority and Key
Management servers. Do I really need these?

The goal is to be able to open attachments recieved from company B that they
say are s\mime?

Thanks for any help!
Henry
