Have you ensured that the firmware on all of your RAID controllers is up to date? That's been the source of most of the -1018 errors I've seen.
That said, there could have been no real problem with the server that will reoccur, but I'd be very cautious about leaving the server online as is - watch it carefully if you do leave the mailboxes there after running the eseutil. If you have another server you can move the mailboxes to, you might consider doing so, then re-checking the firmware again.
