ADC connects Active Directory to the Exchange 5.5 directory. ADC does not
connect Exchange servers to anything. I don't think you've provided enough
detail, but I think you will need another connection agreement for the child
domain. You should be testing this in your lab so you don't screw anything
up.

I just added another Exchange 2003 server in a new child domain.
During Install the only option for adding to an admin group was my existing
5.5 site.
Created a new Routing group since it will be in Europe and moved it there.
To add its mailboxes to the GAL for my 5.5 site I assume I need to make an
ADC connector for this server to my 5.5 site? Currently the mailboxes I have
created do not show up in the GAL. I have one ADC already from my other
child DC to the 5.5 site homed at the empty root on the AD side (which I
would think would cover the new child domain) and at the ORG level on the
Exchange side.
