This morning, I was running the Exchange 2003 move mailbox task from ADU&C. The destination server crashed (ram failure) while the transfer was taking place. This has happened before, with no ill effects. However, this time, the user whose mailbox I was moving can't open Outlook 2003. The error is "The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available.".
Exchange system manager showed mailboxes on both servers, so I disconnected them, deleted the broken/incomplete on, and reattached the good/old mailbox to the user. Everything now appears fine, but the user still can't log on (same error). I've deleted the profile in control panel, and re added it, with no luck. What should I try now? Thanks, Erick _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
