I have a potential client in the retail industry. They would like to roll out OWA for access by approximately 900 branch locations; The idea being each branch would have a kiosk machine for employees to use.
We've got the FE / BE environment and infrastructure all whiteboarded out, so that's not a problem. However, one criteria that the parent company has is that they don't want users in the branches to be able to find users in other branches in the GAL. In other words, the branches can see other users in their branch, and all users at the corporate office, but not users in other branches. If someone happens to get the email address of a user in another branch and sends email to that person, that's not such a big deal to them. But they just don't want the branches to be able to search for users across other branches. Is there any way to do this in Exchange 2003? It would be a native Win2K3 / E2K3 environment. If not Exchange, does anyone know of another product that would do this? Thanks Jason _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
