Hi I have a mailbox on Exchange 2000 SP3 using Outlook 2002 SP2 client that has four emails already in the deleted items that can not be deleted. It gives an error "The item could not be deleted. It was either moved or already deleted, or access denied". Shift delete also does not work and gives the same error.
I have tried to move the item which it wont. Though I can copy it and then the copy deletes OK. Also I have tried opening the email, editing, saving and then deleting it. This has also failed with the same error.=20 I have also used MFCMapi to view the email and try delete it but I get and error message "Error: = hRes=3DMAPI_W_PARTIAL_COMPLETEION=3D=3D0x00040680 In function lpSourceFolder->DeletedMessages( &elMsgList, Null, Null, ulFlag | MESSAGE_DIALOG)..."=20 I have googled & MS Knowledge based for both errors with no success, other then what has already been tried above. How do I get rid of these deleted emails? Will I need to do an integrity check on the IS or would moving the mailbox to another server help?
