Strange, I tested it out this morning on the Exchange 2K unit here.
Before the logging was turned up, there wasn't a murmur in the event log
of any 1016 events.

I guess you must be on Exchange 5.5 from the Event description - was
unaware that there was a difference from 5.5 and 2K in this respect.

Actually, you don't have to have logging turned up at all in order to
get that message.  My logging levels are all set to NONE in Exchange, so
it's just getting what would normally be captured in the Application
event log, and I get those all the time when secretaries access their
manager's mailboxes.
