I have Symantec Antivirus Mail for Exchange 4.0, and at the moment, whenever an email comes in that has a virus, it adds an entry to the Application Event Log. This is fine, except that we get a lot of virus traffic, and so the log quickly fills up with 90% Symantec notifications. What I'd like to do is have an additional Event Log, and have the Symantec stuff go there. Does anyone know if this is possible? And, if not, is there any script/utility to automatically move events from one log to another?
