Thanks for your response. I am using Wayne Small's SBS FAQ without a date limit: "How can I keep a copy of all email (in and out) from my server for 30 days in Exchange 2000" from http://www.sbsfaq.com/FAQ/getArticle.asp?MessageID=000000001A447390AA6611C D9BC800AA002FC45A0900E049B559A334DD479C5D360FB473600B0000000187130000E049B 559A334DD479C5D360FB473600B0000000239980000
This uses: "Use the SBS Administrators Console again and drill down into Exchange > Servers > SERVERNAME > First Storage Group > Mailbox Store (SERVERNAME). Right click and display its properties. On the General Tab, tick the box Archive all messages sent or received by mailboxes on this store and use the browse button to select the public folder you created above. " I then have a folder rule that deletes local to local mail and on other public folders rules to forward mail from them to the allemail folder. I know its not pretty but I didn't have time to get my head round event sinks. *Paul M Tate* _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
