Go to the properties of the public store, click on the instances tab and see
if there are any orphaned folders there. If there are, push them over to the
new server so that they would have an instance.

I moved our 5.5 box to new hardware a year or so back.

I followed the KB articles about removing the last server, and shifted all
PF replicas across and rehomed everything and it is, and has been working
fine AFAIK.

I've just found that if I go to my servers Public Information Store/Folder
Replication Status that I have "Public Folder Hierarchy" listed with a last
received time of "18/05/2005 14:15", 3 replicas and "local modified" status.

If I try to double-click on it I get this error:

"The object is no longer available.  Press F5 to refresh the display and
then try again, ID no: c1030745"

I've ran a DS/IS check on the public store and no events were logged.

I'm not sure if this is something to be concerned about or not.. the fact
there's an error suggests so, but everything appears to be working.

As per usual I have an error code that Technet has never heard of except
deleting Mailboxes on Exchange 5.0 :-)
