Do they want to see old messages? Or just have a mailbox that they can
use?

Subject: Exchange 2000 Enterprise - Disaster Recovery

Hi,

I have been asked to create a solution - senario as follows:

Site 1 has an exchange 2000 server i have been requested to create an
online
mirror of this server in site 2 (Site 2 is a DR site and not used). The
sites are connected by a firewall to firewall vpn and are currently in
the
same domain.

if site 1 goes down they want to connect to site 2 and see their mailbox
and
send and recieve mail.

has anyone come accross this senario before?

regards

Richard
