It is quite possible to install Exchange on a DC. I would not recommend it
as a good solution but it can be done without problems.

It's been suggested to me that all my issues could be coming from me
installing exchange 2003 on a windows 2000 DC. Could this be the cause
of all issues? Once again, thanks Stewart.

You really shouldn't run Exchange on a DC (thats generally regarded as a
rule of
thumb). The steps I mentioned should only affect exchange. When I say
completely
uninstall the servers, I only mean the exchange install - do not rebuild the
whole OS. It
should not affect the DC's. Feel free to post my suggestions onto the main
group and
see what the guru's think of it - I may be completely wrong - certainly
wouldn't be the
first time :-)

Cheers,

Stewart.
