Now I've added a second E2K3 server and want to remove the first one in order to redeploy the hardware. I'm not clear on something; it says to rehome the connectors; all I have is one SMTP connector, but I don't see an obvious way to rehome it. I set the bridgehead for it to the new server; is that all I have to do? >>> I believe that's about it. Also, it says to run setup and uninstall E2K3. In 5.5 it was acceptable practice to shut down the services on the 5.5 box for a while and make sure everything worked before removing the server. Is that the same in E2K3? >>> I don't know why that would have changed. I hate doing something as permanent as an uninstall until I know it will work OK without the server there, but I don't know what will happen if I shut down the first E2K3 server. Uninstall is, I'm sure, cleaner for the org/AD; I'd rather not end up with orphaned stuff in there.
