It is true, the first groupshield with exchange 2003 had several problems, We run now groupshield 6 with service pack 1 and all hotfixes available distributed and managed trough epo and it runs perfectly. No stability problems, even with high email volumes - we got several weeks nearly 100.000 emails on one server per day because of a spam problem. Even without SP1 the problems was not stability. Groupshield had just some problems with special or corrupted messages, in exchange, for example signed messages or meeting requests. All out problems are gone now. The only hassle with groupshield 6 is the performance of the managemend console which is java. But since SP1 even this improved quite a lot. If you use the current groupshield 6 with all hotfixes available there speaks nothing against using groupshield 6 - especially if you use the epo as a central management tool.
