Hi, I'm running ActiveSync on the desktop and have an old PDA connected via the USB port. I've recently purchased a new PDA and I am trying to connect to the PC via Bluetooth. When I try and establish the connection from the new PDA, I get an error saying that the port on the computer is being used. I suspect that this is due to the old PDA synchronising from time to time. Even though ActiveSync is not currently in use, it's icon is still visible in the system tray. To kill the application off altogether (and thus free up the port being used), I'm trying to purge the process from Task Manager. Does anyone know the name of the ActiveSync process ? Thanks, Tim _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
