The best advise I could give you to pretend message recall doesn't work.
Don't even try to use it.
That said, here is everything you need to know about it
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;197094&Product=out2K

PS, if it goes through the IMS, its gone. Period. No recall.

Subject: Recalling a message

Exchange 5.5 SP4 - Windows Nt Server 4.0 I would like to know what happens
when someone recalls a message when...
(a) it's been sent to someone internal (through the MTA)
(b) it's been sent to someont external to the organization (through the IMS)

Also, how can I check to see whether the message did indeed get recalled and
didn't get through to the recipients ?

An urgent issue came up and one of the Directors tried to recall a message
and wanted to know whether it got sent or not.

Thank you.

RB
