What are your opinions regarding Exchange 5.5 running on NT4 Server after support for NT4 Server is retired December 31 2004?
Microsoft will cease Security related updates and support, which obviously present a security risk should a explicit exploit be written. Exchange is supported until Dec 31 2005, but will it only be supported on 2000 Server? This is a topic we are hoping to avoid with our migration, but currently it appears likely we will be running NT4 Exchange 5.5 through the beginning part of next year.
