Thanks for all your help! I see all the mailboxes in ESM. I ran cleanup agent and they all have red "X's". I then created an account, right clicked on the mailbox and reconnected that mailbox to a user. I then get an error that says the object has not been replicated to the server yet, then when I refresh the screen the user disappears. And when I run Exmerge it recognizes the mailboxes that I have reconnected but I get Error opening message store (MSEMS). Verify that the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is running and that you have the correct permissions to log on. I am pretty sure I have the correct permissions. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I was following the KB article on Disaster Recovery and will be using the mbconn command once I get one done.
