These are both MS tools for doing automated outlook profile changes. Does anyone have any recommendations on which to use? Here is the scenario:
Moving from Exchange 5.5sp4 to a whole different organization on Exchange 2000 with all new domain and usernames. The CLPRFLPR tool is older and has been used in the past for this but requires an INI file to tell it what to do. The EXPROFRE that I have came from the new Exchange 2003 toolkit download. It does not make any mention of what exchange server version is supported. It gets the users exchange server info from the AD server (you have to tell it the global catalog server to use) and it fixes up the local users outlook client profile. Should this tool work here (i.e. will this tool that came out with exchange 2003 work OK with exchange 2000). It would seem so, unless the info in AD that it needs is not provided in an Exchange 2000 environment?
