I hope you did not open that port for the entire world to see. You need to be using a VPN or RPC over HTTPS. Opening ports in your firewall in a very bad idea

I understand 135 but why 1224? Exchange 2000 OLK 2003. I read up on this and al documents relate to RCP communication. But I didn't make any changes to have Exchange use a static port. Is this the default port?
