Throw away the API gateway and treat the Exchange server as a foreign
SMTP destination.

I had the same issue and there was no good solution that would let a
series of ReplyAll work among GW/EX/external users.

Subject: Groupwise 6.0 to Exchange 2003 migration

So I've been fortunate enough to inherit a Groupwise 6.0 to E2k3
migration - sure... it's a lot of fun.
Anyway, I'm having a problem that I thought some of the messaging gurus
here might be able to assist me with:
I'll explain the problem, and then list the versions of everything:

When a Groupwise user sends a message to an Exchange user, and an
external user ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), the Exchange user receives the message
and the external user receives the message. The exchange user receives
the incorrect external user's address in the header. The external user
addresses are in the format as follows - hotmail.com.juser Now,
originally, the external recipient would receive a header for the
Exchange user as follows - JUSER.First Administrative Group.Exchange We
fixed this by adding an alias to the foreign user's object within the
Groupwise system of the users full smtp address - [EMAIL PROTECTED]

So the question is for the first scenario.
Versions of everything, below:
e2k3 sp1 with Groupwise connector and Netware client (this is only on
the connector server) All Exchange db servers are e2k3 sp1.
Groupwise 6.0 - (unsupported by Novell, mind you, and the microsoft only
supports connecting to a Groupwise 5.5 world) API Gateway 4.1 pack2

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone
