Hey Tara:

        ELM from TNT software is a nice program. It's agent based, as is
MOM, but if all you need to do is monitor Event logs, ELM is a better
choice (IMHO). ELM is not Microsoft centric so if you need to monitor
firewalls/Unix machines, then ELM will let you do that.
