I completed a server migration over the weekend. OS is SBS2000 (windows
2000) and Exchange 2000. Up to date on service packs but behind on
critical updates.
I successfully restored the databases and so on and email is coming thru
fine.
However, on checking the server in ESM, I noticed that on many item
properties I do not have a security tab. Plus, I also have two
instances of SMTP/ System attendant and system mailboxes. I suspect the
latter is because when the new server was installed with exch, a new is
was created. When doing the restore, this was overwritten.
Are my suspicions correct on the latter issue and what could be causing
the former?
many thanks
Rob
