Sounds like a Network card failure or driver failure. If you break it
down it looks like "PCA" "NDIS4" which would indicate something related
to the NIC.

Subject: Directory Service will not start

I have two exchange 5.5 servers running on windows NT sp6a. This
morning one of the exchange servers stopped working. After a reboot,
the directory service will not start. There is absolutely nothing in
the event viewer to explain what happened, however, every time I try to
start the directory service, it logs an error with pcandis4 protocol
driver. I cannot find anything relating the exchange directory service
to pcandis4 protocol drivers, or what that driver is for.

If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you
