I saw this with Exchange 2000 when a public folder was replicated to multiple stores and someone would send an email directly to the public folder. It seems that Exchange didn't know which one to deliver it to first. Maybe something similar?

Sent: Monday, March 21, 2005 2:00 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: exponential log file growth Exchange 2003 over Server 2003, 165 users. I am getting a new, additional 5GB log file in the mdbdata folder alongside the 11GB priv.edb file every couple of minutes. Many logfiles accumulate. This happened last week, slowed the server to a crawl. I re-booted the server, and it stopped, thought it was an anomaly. It has started again. It can fill up the hard drive rather rapidly. I haven't changed anything recently. I have had it up and running for about six months, I think. With 5.5 it used to be something to do with circular logging (off or on, I forget). Any ideas? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
