Given that you are piping it over a 6 MB line, Doubletake is the standard. It does Byte level replication of the changes as they occur. It also allows for scheduled bandwidth throttling so that during the day it only uses x% of the pipe and Y% at night.
Something to consider though is that NSI recommends the initial transfer is done over an internal network, since the initial replication of 100 GB would take a long time over a 6MB pipe. Since you probably can't move the SAN between offices. Install doubletake on the host SAN server. Image the OS & Exchange partitions onto a box that you can move to the other office (Acronis True Image is great for that). Take the box to the other office, install doubletake on the target server, transfer the data from the temp host box to the target SAN and then reconfigure doubletake to pull the changes from the original host san. Make sure you have remote control enabled on the host SAN. Good Luck. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
