Maybe you can try setting the OWA site to "trusted" in IE and then basically
disabling security in the browser for trusted sites?

Subject: OWA gets message: your web browser is not configured to run
script...

Hello, we are testing (Going live this weekend) OWA 2003 and are
experiencing the following:

When an XP or 2003 server client logs in and clicks on a mail message, the
preview pane briefly displays "your web browser is not configured to run
script or doesn't support script in web pages" but then that message
disappears and the e-mail is properly previewed. However, when they click on
the next e-mail, the message is displayed again for just a moment and then
the e-mail is displayed.

Our configuration is:

Client connects via SSL to ISA Server 2004 connecting via SSL to Exchange
Front End Server which then connects to backend servers for mailboxes. This
is pretty standard setup as we understand things.

So, you think it is a browser issue? Well here is the kicker:

The front end server was configured according to the MS Whitepaper "ISA
Server 2004/Exchange Server Deployment Kit", Chapter 10 specifically which
says that the Exchange, ExchWeb and Public websites should have Directory
Security>>Authentication & Access Control>>Set to use Basic Authentication
and enter our Domain Name in the field and nothing else should be checked.

When we follow that is when we get this message. If, on the ExchWeb site, we
allow Anonymous and uncheck the Basic Authentication and remove the domain
name info, everything works fine.

So does anyone know of another way to fix this issue besides undoing what
the Whitepaper has told me to do? We are not really comfortable with the
anonymous access setting being enabled.

Thanks
