I am the IT support person for my Father-In-Law's accounting firm. Yesterday, unbeknownst to me, they changed ISP's without changing any DNS information.
I have convinced the old ISP to keep the Backup MX information in place, and keep the queues in their server, and had the new ISP set up the new DNS, but I need to be able to get the mail off the secondary MX servers. Is there an easy way to set up my server to do client-side ETRN to pick up the mail from these two backup servers? I see that there are quite a few ETRN options on the set up of a new SMTP connector, but am unsure of what the right set of options are to check. Thanks in advance for any help, Glenn Sullivan _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
