All,

All our staff calendars in our organisation are stored in public folders. We
have a policy which dictates everyone must see each others calendars and found
this to be the most convenient way to achieve this. However, we have
implemented Blackberry's for 5 users but the BES Lite server V4 will only synch
wirelessly with the private public folder calendar not one in a public folder.
We have been quoted for a third party tool (Wallace exchange from Xenium
solutions) to achieve this but it is costly (Â1995.00 for 5 users!!). I was
wondering how people are achieving this out there in a more cost efficient
manner. I would prefer not moving all my public folder calendars to private
ones and then granting permissions.

I would like to synchronise a public folder calendar and a private folder
calendar and then just let BES synch the BB with the private calendar. Even if
we only synched the folders every couple of hours would suffice.

2 X Exchange 2K SP3 w/ rollups
1 X BES lite V4
2 X Win 2K SP4 w/ rollups

TIA

Mark Condron
