You can avoid double-booking by using a mailbox and an AutoAccept event
sink. And others will be able to see the mailbox's Free/Busy too, so if they
are smart, they will not double-book.

Actually, with PFs, if you have multiple replicas, someone could double-book
if someone else already booked the resource and the info is in the process
of being replicated.

Yes this is exactly what I want to do. This allows the end user to book the
conference rooms and not have any duplicate bookings is what I am trying to
address.
