Has anyone had to do forensic work on .pst files? We have a client (law firm) who's been retained by a plaintiff in a case. We need to do discovery on the defendants e-mail system, and they "supposedly" only have .pst files & POP3. Versions are unknown at this time as this got dumped on me within the last 30 minutes.
I'm looking to recover deleted items or deleted data from .pst files if possible. I have most of the big name tools, but don't recall ever having that capability. We should have physical access to all ~40 machines soon, and will grab all .pst and .ost files we can find. Thanks.
