I find Exchange 5.5 on Windows 2000 Server (either Advanced or Standard) much
more stable than it ever was on NT. I've been running my 4 Exchange servers on
W2K for about 2 years now, with almost no problems at all. I'll be upgrading
to Exchange 2003 on W2K3 sometime this summer, but for now, Exch 5.5 on W2K
works great for me, with about 2500 mailboxes.

I agree with Ed, though...(boy, that sounds presumptuous) if you keep having
those kinds of issues with the server, you probably have faulty hardware in it.
If you're getting d/b corruption, you probably have a bad hard drive. Get RID
of it and get one that doesn't flake out on you. D/B corruption sucks.
